Kohlbecker architects - Workplace for people

The first Kohlbecker building was called „The Human Factory“. Because Karl Kohlbecker wanted to ensure that a good quality of life does not end at the factory gates. That‘s a kind thought. And an entrepreneurial one: because when people feel comfortable, everything runs better. Quality increases, processes become faster, the work succeeds.

Workplace for people:

No compromises have been made in the equipment of each individual desk workstation. All components are individually adaptable to humans. Due to the special geometry of the desk, very advantageous workplace groupings result. The offset of the tables to each other is very pleasant. Direct counterparts are avoided. Instead, harmoniously spacious rooms are created between the desks.

A commitment to resource-saving sustainability:

Fast growing bamboo. Hard as solid oak. Now bamboo tops are the new green desktops for Kohlbecker employees.
All the decorative acoustic partitions are made of PET felt, which is made from recycled PET bottles.

Kohlbecker Gesamtplan:

For decades, until the early 2000s, Christoph Kohlbecker built almost all the production facilities of the Stuttgart-based car company Daimler Benz, including the plants in Rastatt, Bremen and Wörth am Rhein. The entrepreneur and architect also built systems for Audi, IBM and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen.
Kohlbecker was one of the pioneers of industrial architecture in the booming Federal Republic. Today, his son Matthias Kohlbecker runs the family business in the third generation. His younger brother Florian is head of the associated holding company.

Workplace for people

No compromises have been made in the equipment of each individual desk workstation. All components are individually adaptable to humans. E.g., adjustable in height according to the latest technology, including fitness app, i.e. setting of the desk and the fitness parameters with mobile phone.
Double swivel arm for monitor and laptop, as well as individually height-adjustable shielding elements, which can be pinned with your Notes in addition to the best acoustic and hygienic properties.

Airy feel-good rooms

Due to the special geometry of the desk, very advantageous workplace groupings result. The offset of the tables to each other is very pleasant. Direct counterparts are avoided. Instead, harmoniously spacious rooms are created between the desks. Each employee receives a personal caddy, which is parked in the caddy garage on home office days. Desk sharing is thus practiced in areas of the company.

Beautifully designed, stable, arbitrarily expandable and highly efficient, that is our vitAcoustic “Wall”, which we supplement as a further element for sound absorption in the office furniture sector.

Privacy Cabins

A new Vital-Office development that has better acoustic values compared to conventional constructions. Broadband high sound absorption towards the room and in the cabin is achieved. Thus, these cabins contribute significantly to sound absorption throughout the room.

Nevertheless, the sound-insulating effect of the walls is also retained.

The cabins are equipped with tables that can be adjusted up to standing height with large table tops, which can also be used for work.
